Schools earn up to $21,000.
Peoria IL April 3, 2008: Helping schools with the resources they need makes good business sense. April 22, 2008 Earth Day will kick off the first ongoing fundraising effort to help schools save money, and the environment while teaching stewardship and the value of recycling. Every Illinois School is eligible to participate. Prairie Technology Alliance members are committed business partners to help schools raise and save money.
There is no cost to register or participate. All Illinois schools will be eligible for an Earth Day Technology Assessments provided by The Prairie Technology Alliance as well as details of the Race to Recycle program. US Laser an Illinois based manufacturer of Ink and Toner knows the amount of money saved by businesses and schools who recycle. “Working with businesses, organizations and schools to save money is our top priority says Troy Mc Daniels owner of the firm”. Motorola will donate money for each cell phone collected. The money raised will go directly to the schools up to $21,000 per school year. There will be prizes earned by students, class rooms, and schools who participate.
